Tasked with the performance and security of the domain name system linked to the management of .fr, we strive for excellence through a continuous improvement policy – to ensure an ever more attractive, simple and powerful internet domain name registry.
Knowing that perfection does not exist does not mean we should not seek to achieve it. At Afnic, we address the pursuit of operational excellence with a high degree of modesty, while still aiming for the ideal of ‘zero defects’ and ‘zero breakdowns’.
The security of our information systems is one of the components of our structural DNA. In 2008, we instigated a quality initiative to structure business line processes and scale up to a multi-registry strategy. From 2012 onwards, this initiative was strengthened thanks to the EFQM model – chosen for its integration of stakeholder expectations and for its ability to address all performance factors (clients, human resources and corporate issues) as part of a continuous improvement process. This initiative is still in place today, with an ISMS certified ISO 27001 since 2016. Remaining modest while setting increasingly challenging targets, listening to our stakeholders and constantly ensuring that our employees are able to provide the best responses: that is our pathway to excellence.
